A colorless, nearly odorless, hygroscopic liquid, fully miscible with water and most organic solvents. Its high boiling point and low freezing point make it suitable for both polymerization and thermal-management uses.

What is the difference between MEG and Ethylene Glycol?
They are the same compound. "MEG" (monoethylene glycol) is used to distinguish it from DEG (diethylene glycol) and TEG (triethylene glycol).
Which grade is used for PET bottles?
Polyester Grade (≥ 99.9%, low DEG and low water) is specified for PET resin, polyester fiber and film.
